Hypnosis is generally induced by fixing the attention on a single and fascinating object, helping your mind to relax.

Firstly I would like to discuss the difference between attention and retention.  Many in the past have deemed that attention is requisite to acquiring information.  Therefore it becomes focus, or concentration or the acquisition of information known as retention.  Attention is observation and listening without specific aim but for the joy of exploring.  If that is the case, then you certainly don’t know how to handle energy.  You see, usually, when not working on it, awareness, or one’s attention is guided, controlled by outside events: by emotions, unwanted emotions, the chattering of the mind, etc.  Even to learn Holophany and to understand the philosophy of how things work, you need a certain span of attention and concentration, and a certain control of your energy.  Controlling the wanderings of one’s attention is controlling awareness, which is the access code of consciousness.  It is 9:00 am on a Monday morning.  Do you know where your employees’ attention is.

Brain

Attention is required in both cognitive and behavioral processes.  How the information is utilized by the individual’s brain is critical to correct diagnosis and treatment.  A better word might be “filtering.  Temporal ADD is still characterized by problems with the prefrontal cortex, but the temporal area of the brain is often affected.  Attention is required in both cognitive and behavioral processes.  The brain is a hungry organ that cannot function at optimal levels without the proper fuels.  They include the frontal lobes, the inhibitory mechanisms of the cortex, the limbic system, and the reticular activating system.  Each of these areas of the brain is associated with various neurological functions.  These impacted areas include the frontal lobes, the inhibitory mechanisms of the cortex, the limbic system, and the reticular activating system.  It has been said that 70% of the brain is there to inhibit the other 30% of the brain.  A better word might be “filtering.  This is because the cingulate system of the brain is overactive and often locks a person into self-destructive, negative, or repetitive behavior.

Power

The definition of power is force multiplied by speed and is the ability to turn a large gear for a long period of time.

To truly understand ADD/ADHD, we must address attention as a global process, not just an issue of being able to focus on and sustain attention to a task.  Attention is required in both cognitive and behavioral processes.  He may bite or lick his paw, act uneasy and figity, etc.  Whatever your dog does when his attention is beginning to stray, recognize it and work on regaining his attention.  Now I know this is going to sound blindingly obvious, but most important ideas are just common sense things that we have stopped doing.  The key to Getting Attention is to give people what they are looking for.    It’s almost impossible for most of us to shift ourselves out of this mood.  We have the belief that circumstances outside of our control have contributed to our mood, and therefore our attention is stuck on the outside situation.
